I have been following safari for past 10 years and the website for almost of 3 months. i like it :)>-
After reviewing debate about PDF or flash version i wann add my opinion in it.
Actually it doesn't matter what version you are following , what matters is the knowledge, safari providing to us through wen site media. Obviously administrator will be cautious not any one to crack the edition and copying it. He is providing such a valuable knowledge on so lower rate. just think if some one starts mailing crack edition to every one. how much loss safari will get and the final impact will come on readers due to insufficient fund to run the magazine :-&
And while you reading the edition with such an interest , you don't really feel the version difference.
Carry on safari with your great work [cheer]

I have been reading safari for 12 years... I am so happy to see online versions of safari... safari has added a lot of knowledge and has inspired us to think laterally... thanks a lot to all safari members..

talking about the user friendliness of the site, I would say it can be made still better..its a bit heavy so takes more time to display all the things..
here are some suggestions to make it a bit lighter..
-don't use very heavy pics .try to change their resolution and extensions.. it ll take off a lot of load.
-try to use something other than asp.net in creating the site.. it has been my observation that asp.net adds so much of extra load..
other things I found ok..

well I wish safari a huge success in future.. :)>-

I was a regular reader of SAFARI since I guess the issue #1 in Gujarati , Well I bought them of course because I wasn't even born at that time :). Well that's not the point. I am very happy for the digital version of SAFARI, and Finally they're here with English versions as well.. I remember I had requested a lot for publishing an English Version of SAFARI. However, I was unable to be a frequent browser of the website. In my view whatever SAFARI is right now, is simply a matter of progress day by day. In my view, I would still wish to have PDF version, not because of the inconvenience with Flash, but the fact that PDF versions give you enormous accessibility. I agree that the Flash has an advantage of animation but PDF is an outstanding format for reading. The problem with PDF is the piracy, which I believe can be overcome by signature or password protection. The major problem with flash is that it is not user friendly. I hope in future we start getting the issues in PDF format again. However I am happy with whatever SAFARI is right now.

Well, any good contents will be only written if that is paid. World needs good authors, publishers not only good readers like us <img src="> .
And those good people also need to not only survive but to earn money. PDF can be easily accessible and transferred which requires additional monitoring or it has no control at all over piracy.

I hope we all understand that and support to have it online in any format which atleast server the above said purpose. We want to see this magazine service and also to be grown at the leave that more and more people gets benefit. If we pay for rubbish FMCG companies for useless products which charges reckless prices, whats harm to pay for this which we all know is good.

Those who are from IT world should understand that asking paid content in PDF is just like asking it free.

Regarding who says that site sucks, please note Knowledge is the key domain of this publication not the Information technology. The objective should be to post creative suggestions and bring improvement. If you see other publications around locally, hardly any one has a site better than online catalog/visiting card with junk askii characters (dont even know how to deploy guj fonts).

This site is better and improving. Atleast lot better than last i saw before a couple of years.

Happy reading friends.

First of all, i Love Safari so much.....But time and technology is moving faster, Now safari has to move with them, Now i pad and digital e reader are out in the market and i really like to live on the edge of technology so i strongly suggest to safari that please grow more by opening doors to iphone and ipad by making your own applications for iphone and ipad , and please also use pdf so other ebook readers can use it.
i hope safari is listening to all this suggestions and will act accordingly
thanks

Ok....PDF Version....We need it.

But above all I would say in black and white that

"THE SITE APPEARS TO BE 'COMMERCIAL' RATHER THAN KNOWLEDGE SITE......"

We want some past Excellent Columns in Ready to read format.

rather than this

"નોંધ: સફારીની ડિજિટલ એડિશનનું લવાજમ જેમણે ભર્યું છે એ ગ્રાહકો જ આખો અંક ઓનલાઇન વાંચી શકે. અન્ય વાચકો પ્રિવ્યૂ વર્ઝન પર ક્લિક કરીને સફારીના અંકની ટૂંકી ઝલક જોઇ શકે છે."

And Subscription Payment Options are in American Dollars. WHY AMERICAN DOLLARS???????

We can pay in Indian Rupee. Big Online Stores are selling in Indian Rupee. WHY DON'T YOU??

M really Discouraged with "SAFARI"'s such behavior.<img src="> <img src="> <img src=">
